Protected Species Survey
At CCNW we offer a range of protected species surveys and advice to ensure compliance with legal and planning policies and the conservation of key plant and animal wildlife.
Our experienced ecological consultants will carry out your survey in accordance with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) recommended survey and report writing competencies and guidelines.
Our Ecologists are CIEEM members and have the necessary experience and licences (where appropriate) to undertake surveys for legally protected species/groups: bats, barn owls, great crested newts, water voles, badgers, otters, reptiles and birds. Our surveys are accompanied by the reports required for securing planning permission, and can include reference to the longer list of species requiring consideration in determining planning permission.
Our experience in preparing habitat management plans, and designing and implementing mitigation solutions means that you can always rest assured of the best outcome for your development project every time.
